Wild Medicine Voices - Sacred Song Circle

Wild Medicine Voices – Sacred Song Circle

A gathering to explore voice as a healing medicine through shared song, sound, presence, and community. We sing for healing of mind, heart, soul, and the wider web of life. No experience needed.

What to Expect

Wild Medicine Voices is a sacred song circle held in a relaxed, supportive and non-performative way. The evening will begin with led songs and simple harmonies, taught by ear, inviting everyone to arrive in their bodies and voices gently and naturally. In shared song, singing becomes medicine, restoring connection to our deeper selves and to being in community.

We will then pause for a short break allowing time to integrate and ground together.

In the second half, the circle opens into a song sharing space. Those who wish are invited to offer a devotional song of their own (and when invited the group will join you in your song), or to guide the group in a sacred chant or melody. Instruments are welcome if they support the circle and the shared space. This is not a performance or open mic, but a medicine circle of presence and community, where voices are welcomed exactly as they are.

Listening is as valued as singing, and participation is always by choice.

Healing Power of Voice

Coming into our voice is not about singing well, it is about being heard, being seen, being felt, becoming comfortable with imperfection and allowing ourselves to take up space.

Our voices are deeply connected to our bodies, our emotions, and our sense of belonging within our communities. Many of us have learned to quieten parts of ourselves or to hold back, singing together in a supportive circle can gently unwind these stories. Over time, this can open self-expression, build confidence, and help us express parts of ourselves that have been silenced or forgotten.

Healing Power of Community Singing

Singing is a powerful way to meet each other in peace and unity. When we sing together we listen more deeply to each other and the subtle resonance that moves between us. Each sound, each note, each tone, becomes a bridge of heart expanding communication. Through shared song, we meet in a way that transcends differences, where voices interweave, creating embodied connection that honours each person exactly as they are. Singing together invites us to remember that even in our individuality, we are never truly separate.

Circle Guidelines

To help create a safe and welcoming space for everyone, we hold this circle with a few shared agreements:

  • All voices are welcome: singing, sounding, listening

  • Participation is by choice: everything is an invitation, never an expectation

  • No fixing, judging, or performing: we meet each other as we are, singing to connect not impress

  • Confidentiality is respected: what others share stays in the circle. Recordings and photos must always have consent of the whole group

  • Care for the collective: listen deeply and share mindfully

Together, we co-create a circle of trust and respect.
