White Pine & Tobacco Community Peace Circle

  • The Clophill Centre Shefford Road Clophill, England, MK45 4BT United Kingdom (map)

In light of the current political climate of the UK and the heart breaking events that continue to unfolding globally, it has never been more important for us to hold the intention of peace. Set on the day of Stand Up To Racism march in London, this gathering is our way of supporting peace, harmony, unity and freedom, between all people and lands. This is a donation based event (suggested donation £10 but offer what you can), registration is required so we can prepare and send out details closer to the time.

We believe that peace in our outer world begins when we know, understand, experience and embody peace in our inner world. To guide this journey, we will work with two sacred plant allies:

  • The White Pine Tree is known as the Tree of Peace in five traditions of the indigenous peoples of North-East North America a symbol of unity between the five nations.

  • Tobacco is a sacred plant ally also part of the North American First Nations traditions, whose spirit carries our prayers to the Creator and a sacred plant of the peace pipe (please note we are not ingesting or selling tobacco in this ceremony).

We will be in ceremony with these two plant allies, with the support and witness of Grandfather Fire, sharing in circle to acknowledge places in our inner world or lives where we may be experiencing conflict, and offer prayers for collective peace in our communities, localities, country and globally.
